Next week we have a rather special event for you. The theme for the night is The Internet Past, Present and Future.
Dr. Dennis Jennings the man described as "a founding architect of the Internet" is Coming to University College Dublin on Thursday the 19th of November. Dennis Jennings was responsible for the decisions that created NSFNET (1985/86) - the network that became the Internet - while working for the US Federal Government (on leave from UCD).
He will be accompanied by Mr. Niall Murphy a Google Ireland Manager, Niall is an IPv6 Expert, The Original Auditor and one of the founders of UCD Netsoc. Niall will be giving a talk on "The future of the Internet" from a Google perspective.
